Steps to create an ‘Image Gallery Photo’ in an ‘Image Gallery Album’.

Create an Image Gallery Photo

  1. Right-click an existing Image Gallery Album, and click Create from the actions/context menu.

  2. Enter a name for the image gallery photo, and select Image Gallery Photo as the Document Type.
  3. Click Create.

  4. Under the Image Properties tab > Image gallery photo element, Choose... your image file from the image you already uploaded to the Image library folder in the Media section.
  5. Select a Colour (RGB, CMYK or Grayscale). Note that some installations may have differing options, ie. BLACK rather than Grayscale.
  6. Select a Resolution for the file (300, 150 or 72 dpi).
  7. Select an Image License Type (Royalty free, Talent fees apply or other). Note that selecting ‘Talent fees apply’ adds a watermark across the image and prevents download of high resolution images. Talk to your Brand Toolbox contact about adding this extra functionality to your instance.
  8. Add an image Description (optional).
  9. Add relevant Keywords for the image. Note that keywords should be separated by a comma, (ie. keyword1, keyword2, keyword3, etc). Type in as many keywords as you wish, 10-15 keywords are usually sufficient.

  10. Click the Save and publish button and your image is now published to the Image library.

Note that you can also schedule the system to publish the image at any future date by setting a Publish at date in the Properties tab. Remember to Save your changes first.
