Feature 159 (Azure DevOps) — Ability to ‘publicly’ share an asset

Users are now able to share assets with external stakeholders who are not Brand Toolbox members. Previously, people needed to register and log in to access an asset.

 
Share link expiry dates

An email with the shareable link is then sent to the public user, guiding them to a public download area.

Share link expiry dates can be set so the external party has only 7 or 30 days to download the assets before the share link expires.

Download reminder emails

File download reminder emails can also be configured to send reminders to external parties to download the asset before the share link expires.

Download reporting

Any downloads by external (public) users are recorded into the ‘Downloads reporting’ tool.
 

Existing Brand Toolbox users will notice the new share button underneath the download file link.
