TASK 605 - Member login - Failed login attempts lockout

When a frontend member reaches the maximum number of invalid password attempts (whilst logging in), their membership will become ‘locked’, and they will not be able to log in until the Administrator unlocks their account.

By default, the maximum number of allowed invalid password attempts is ‘5’, however, this can be altered by the Brand Toolbox Support Team. The setting is available in the web.config <providers><add name="UmbracoMembershipProvider"... maxInvalidPasswordAttempts="5"/>.

TASK 607 - Members registration - reCaptcha device

For added security and to mitigate Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks, we added a reCaptcha (CAPTCHA) device to the Member ‘Registration’ form.
 

TASK 622 - Reporting: List users associated with downloads

The ‘Downloads reporting’ tool has always listed all the images and assets that were ever downloaded, as well as displaying the number of times each was downloaded. The revised reporting tool now displays who downloaded the individual assets.
